Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) marked its Day 1 as a new member of Haier Smart Home with a vibrant event, joined by its global team. The celebration featured keynote addresses from Jeffrey Li, Chairman and CEO of Haier Smart Home, and Marcus Eisenhuth, CEO of CCR.
Alongside the CCR leadership team and employees, several key leaders from Haier Smart Home attended the event, including Li Pan, VP of Overseas; Ma Jian, VP of Refrigeration; Yingbo Yu, CFO of Overseas; Jason Yu, HR Overseas; Antonio Boadas, Communications Overseas; Yanhui Xue, GM of Cooling Overseas; and Xuepeng Li, Strategy and Integration Leader, among others.
In his keynote, Jeffrey Li emphasized the strategic importance of CCR’s integration into Haier Smart Home, calling it a fundamental step towards building the world’s best cold chain. He also shared insights into the RenDanHeYi model and Haier’s unique business integration approach, which prioritizes empowerment over control, contrasting with conventional corporate practices.
Marcus Eisenhuth provided an inside look at the integration process, the operating model, and key priorities for the first 100 days and beyond. He also acknowledged the multidisciplinary team that managed the due diligence and regulatory approval process.
The event featured live-streamed remarks from leaders in China and India, further emphasizing the global significance of this milestone.
It concluded with the unveiling of a heritage wall, showcasing the rich history of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, from Hans Liebherr’s first refrigerator to its new phase as part of Haier Smart Home.
